From 2014 to 2017, I wrote a five-part story on this blog called The Beth Cycle<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had set myself a challenge: one chapter a week, in two languages\u2014French and English. I had a lot of fun building my world\u2026 and putting my characters through their paces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since June 2024, I\u2019ve returned to the story with the help of a writing coach who is guiding me as I grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A year and a half later, the rewrite of Part III is coming to an end, and so much has changed along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I decided to take everything offline. But in the end, this early material is a record of the past I can\u2019t bring myself to erase. I\u2019m now putting it back online little by little, while also fixing a major issue with language management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once everything is back in place, I\u2019ll start posting on this blog more regularly again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the story about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 25th century on Earth, a young woman wins a lottery: three planets, three journeys. It marks the beginning of an adventure for Beth Smith, who can finally fulfill her dream, sending her mind across the stars to discover other civilizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
