Hello!
My name is Annie, and I’m French. I live on Réunion Island, a volcanic island in the Indian Ocean. I studied biology at Paris VII a long time ago. These days, I design and build websites.
I’m starting this blog in my fiftieth year. I’ve wanted to write for a long time, but honestly, I never knew what to write about. So I just couldn’t get started.
Lately, most of my reading has been crime novels, mostly Icelandic ones. But I don’t really feel like writing in that genre.
When I was younger, I read a lot of science fiction. I started with Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series. After that, it was pretty hard to find authors who were just as engaging. So I moved on and read a bit of everything.
These days, I’m back into science fiction, but on TV. Thanks to Doctor Who, probably the most addictive show I’ve watched in a very long time. I love those tangled space-time stories. But they’re a bit too complex for me, so for the story I’m about to tell, I’ll stick to space. We’ll see how that goes.
